Terms & Conditions
Elite Boxing & Performance Centre · Collier Row Road, RM5 2BH · Last updated: 23 October 2026
Draft for the club's review. These terms were prepared as a sensible starting point for a UK boxing gym. The club should check them (ideally with a solicitor and its insurer) and complete the items marked [CONFIRM] before taking real payments.
1. Who we are
These terms apply to your use of Elite Boxing & Performance Centre ("the Gym", "we", "us"), operating from Collier Row Road, RM5 2BH, and to this website. Legal entity: [CONFIRM — company or trading name and number]. Contact: 07581 224558.
2. Membership
- You need an account to hold a membership and book classes. The account holder must be 16 or over. A parent or guardian must register and be responsible for any child (under 18) added to their account.
- Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred or shared. 24-hour gym access is for members only; do not let others in with your access.
- Membership types, what they include and their prices are shown on the website and in your account at the time you join.
- Membership fees are taken in advance by recurring card payment through our payment provider, Stripe, on the same date each billing period until cancelled.
3. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel at any time from Manage billing & cards in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and no further payments are taken. [CONFIRM — minimum term / notice period, if any.]
- Fees already paid are non-refundable unless we cancel a service we promised, the law requires it, or we agree otherwise in writing.
- If a payment fails we will try again and may suspend your access and bookings until your account is up to date.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. If you do not accept the new price you may cancel before it takes effect.
Consumer rights: if you buy online you may have a 14-day cooling-off period. If you start using the Gym during that period you agree to pay for the days used.
4. Booking classes
- Classes can be booked up to 4 weeks ahead, subject to space, age limits and your membership.
- Bookings can be cancelled from your account up to 2 hours before the class starts. Late cancellations and no-shows may count as an attended session and, where there is a pay-per-class booking, are not refunded.
- We may change, merge or cancel a class (for example for coach illness, events or safety). We will tell you where we reasonably can and will offer an alternative or credit.
- Age groups are enforced: Nursery Boxing is for ages 4–10, Development Boxing 10–16, Adults 16+.
5. Health, safety and risk
- Boxing, sparring and strength training are physical activities with a risk of injury. By joining you confirm you are fit to take part, have told us about any medical condition or injury that could affect you, and will tell us promptly if it changes. For children, the parent or guardian confirms this.
- Take medical advice before training if you are unsure. Stop and tell a coach if you feel unwell.
- You must follow coaches' instructions, use equipment correctly, wear appropriate kit and protective equipment, and train only at your level. Sparring is only for members the coaches have approved.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss or damage to belongings or for injuries that result from your own failure to follow instructions or from the ordinary risks of the sport.
- Keep valuables with you; the Gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
6. Conduct
Treat everyone with respect. We do not tolerate violence outside controlled training, bullying, harassment, discrimination, drugs, or damage to equipment. We may suspend or end a membership without refund for serious or repeated breaches. Children must be supervised by an adult before and after sessions unless the coaches agree otherwise.
7. Sauna and 24-hour access
Use the sauna and out-of-hours facilities at your own risk and in line with posted rules; do not use them if unwell or if advised against it by a doctor. CCTV may operate for safety and security.
8. Photos and video
We photograph and film training and shows and may post them on our website and social media. You can say yes or no when you register and change your mind at any time by contacting us; we will stop using new content and remove it going forward where we reasonably can. We will not publish a child's full name alongside their image.
9. Event tickets
- Tickets for shows are sold by us through this website, taken by card via Stripe, and issued as a code by email and on screen. Present the code at the door.
- Tickets are non-refundable except where an event is cancelled or materially changed. If an event is postponed, tickets stay valid for the new date. Line-ups and fight times may change.
- Entry may be refused for unsafe, abusive or intoxicated behaviour. Children's tickets are for the ages stated on the event page and children must be accompanied as the venue requires.
- Do not resell tickets for more than their face value. Each code can be used once.
10. Website and accounts
Keep your password secure and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity on your account. We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and tell members of material changes. Continuing to use the Gym after a change means you accept it.
12. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless you live elsewhere in the UK and have mandatory local rights. If you have a complaint please speak to a coach or contact us on 07581 224558 and we will try to resolve it quickly.
